iDive Free Advantgarde is the only dive computer in the world equipped with Taravana control. That means that your profile is always optimized even after more days of repetitive dives. Taravana is a disease often found among expert freedivers such as Polynesian island natives who habitually dive deep many times in close succession, usually for food or pearls. These free-divers may make 40 to 60 dives a day, each of 30 or 40 meters (100 to 140 feet). Featuring real time algorithms the iDive calculates your real tissue saturation status and calculates your repetitive dive profile according to your previous dives. The iDive is neither more or less conservative in comparison with the other computers. It is just “right”. The Buhlmann algorithm ZHL-16B calculates the minimum recovery time to avoid nitrogen saturation, and afterward decompression in real time for unprecedented freediving safety in a dive watch.
Once the dive starts the timer automatically displays time spent on the surface and a black band on the face disappears only when sufficient time has passed to dive again. iDive Free Advantgarde has decompression and dehydration controls which appear on the screen to remind the diver to drink!
Machined from a solid block of 316 stainless steel the case is matched to an equally impressive sapphire crystal. The sapphire crystal is commonly used on top-range watches like Rolex and Omega. It supports pressure to -220 meters (721 feet). The control knobs are designed to withstand effects of pressure.
iDive Free Advantgarde is equipped with a rechargeable battery with USB port guaranteed for ten years. This avoids opening the computer; eliminating the risks of infiltration, humidity and leakage.
iDive Free Advantgarde is equipped with software to manage your dive profiles.
