All of Andre Spearguns are hand crafted by Andre Wickasana from the finest of teakwood. Teakwood contains oils that repel water and prevent warping it’s the best wooden speargun material. Our spearguns will shoot with a dependable accuracy and they are extremely durable.
The spearguns are designed to be powerful, accurate, silent, and highly maneuverable. The Balance of each model is very important to us. Each speargun is ballasted for buoyancy control and stability. Every speargun has the ideal weight shaft relative to the number and size of power bands. Overall, we create a perfectly balanced speargun to maximize the effective shooting range and accuracy.
Every model features an ergonomic handcarved teakwood handle. Our spearguns feature extension at the butt for hip loading leverage. Furthermore, all of our spearguns feature a recessed groove carved out of the stock to guide the accurately down the barrel.
The GOLD 155, GOLD 160, PLATINUM 145, PLATINUM 160 & PLATINUM 165 spearguns feature Mid-Handle placement for improved maneuverability and greater power. The mechanism sits further to the rear on these models, giving more band pull, hence more power. In addition, these spearguns offer balance wings for added stability & increased accuracy. Overall, our spearguns offer under water hunters the best spearguns tailored to their hunting territory, whether spearfishing in the shallow rock reef areas to the deep blue water hunting large pelagic fish.

The Railgun is the ultimate in speargun technology, offerring a powerful, fast, well balanced rig with the added bonus of being streamlined enough to appeal to those who prefer to hunt their fish at greater depth or in adverse conditions.
Rob Allen now introduces the Vecta, a new state of the art gun handle. The Vecta is the result of three years of research and development into creating the ultimate speargun trigger mechanism and grip. This development is set to elevate the status of Rob Allen’s core piece of equipment, the Railgun, to an even higher level. The result of all this engineering is the Vecta, the strongest, smoothest and most robust mechanism available.
Railguns are unique in the sense that they have an extended “rail” incorporated into the aluminum barrel for the full length of the shaft. This rail supports the spear the full length of the barrel and continues on into the muzzle. The rail barrel tube is also much stiffer and stronger than a normal tube because it is thicker-walled and has a slightly bigger diameter. The integrated rail adds further strength. Rob Allen also uses aircraft grade aluminum when the barrels are extruded. This gives the barrel even better strength and stiffness, enabling it to handle strong rubbers and be used in longer lengths without flexing. It is basically stronger and stiffer than wood of the same diameter.
